Our service allows you to connect your Google Analytics account to view traffic insights. When you connect your Google Analytics account:

  • Data We Access: We access your Google Analytics data in read-only mode, including website sessions, users, traffic sources, and referral data. We request only the analytics.readonly scope and cannot modify your Google Analytics configuration.

  • How We Use This Data: We analyze your traffic data to show you what percentage of your website visitors come from AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity). This helps you understand your AI-driven audience.

  • Data Storage: Your Google Analytics authentication tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and stored securely in our database. Traffic data retrieved from your account is cached to provide faster access and reduce API calls.

  • Data Sharing: We do not share your Google Analytics data with third parties. The data is only used to display insights within your Story Arc dashboard.

  • Disconnecting: You can disconnect your Google Analytics account at any time from your team settings. This will revoke our access and delete your stored tokens and cached traffic data.
